Calgary Co-Parenting Centre
Our office is in Varsity Towers, just north of the University of Calgary. Please note that there is not always staff at the location and that we share the space with some private counsellors. In other words, access is not usually available on a drop in basis. In general, it's better to call and book an appointment. Please call 403-238-6063 to make an appointment. Alternatively, you can email information@coparenting.ca.

Address: Suite 202, 4603 - Varsity Drive N.W., Calgary, Alberta T3A 2V7
Parking: There is ample visitor parking available in front of the building.
Building Access: Because the building is a combined professional/condominium complex, the front doors are locked. On the keypad, enter the access code, 2202, as indicated on the building directory. Major Driving Routes: From Crowchild Trail, exit onto Shaganappi Trail and go southwest to Varsity Drive. Turn left (east) onto Varsity Drive and the towers are about a block down on the right hand side of the road.
Bus and C-Train Information: Take the C-Train to the Brentwood station. Bus routes 122 and 407 bring you right past our office. Get off at stop #3985. Bus 122 runs hourly, except for morning and afternoon weekday periods when it runs every half an hour. It's scheduled to be at stop #3985 at 48 minutes past the hour on weekends, and on weekdays it varies, but is generally at about quarter after and quarter to. Bus route 407 runs hourly every day except Sunday. It's scheduled to be at stop #3985 at 55 minutes past the hour. Bus 407 also goes out to Bowness for people in that area.
Bus route 22 will take you back to the Brentwood station. Be at stop # 3992 at 32 minutes past the hour on weekends and evenings. During the day, the times vary between 27, 32, 54, and 57 minutes past the hour.
For the energetic, the office is a 1.7km walk from the Brentwood C-Train station.
SOUTH LOCATION - SOUTHCENTRE TOWER (No longer available. Looking for alternatives.)
NOTE: If you know someone with a boardroom or meeting space that we can occasionally use, particularly in the evenings, we can provide them with a donation receipt for a gift in kind. This provides us with something at no cost, until we can build up to needing a full time space, and it provides the donor with a valuable tax receipt with no actual cost being incurred.
Long Distance Services
The Canadian Co-Parenting Centres was started because, while there is a variety of counselling agencies in most cities, there is a dearth of resources for families going through separation and divorce.
Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to immediately establish centres in all cities and communities across Canada.
In working with our local clients, we have discovered that in some situations, a lot of the assistance can be provided over the phone or through email.
For services like mediation, you should be able to find something locally, but for co-parenting coordination, there may be nothing available. If your family needs co-parenting coordination and you are unable to find a local service provider, please contact us and we will determine if we can assist remotely.
Generally, an initial in-person meeting is preferred, and that would necessitate some travel, either by the family or the co-parenting coordinator. After the condensed initial work, most of the remaining services can be done remotely. Of course, access to email, on-line chats, fax, and conference calling would be required.
If you would like to explore this further, please email us, information@coparenting.ca or call 403-238-6063.
